ADA - she who creates
In this concert Taffelpikene present brand new music from vibrant, exciting composers all based in Norway. The women, yes, they are all women, come from very different backgrounds, on the planet and musical genres. This has resulted in an eclectic and exhilarating mix, ranging from music by the exquisite harding fiddle player Guro Kvifte Nesheim to the fireworks of the jazz saxophonist Shannon Mowday from South Africa. Hanna Paulsberg, jazz saxophone, has written a three-movement masterpiece with a blues in the middle which will stick in your mind for a long time. The piece by jazz singer Karoline Wallace was premiered in Norway April 2022 and is the most recent music in the project.
